Prof. (Dr.) Atul Sharma

Prof. (Dr.) Atul Sharma is Vice Chairman of Medical Oncology at Max Hospital, Saket, and also consults at Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket and the Max Institute of Cancer Care, Lajpat Nagar. His published areas are breast cancer, thoracic oncology and gynaecologic oncology.

He came to Max from a long academic career at AIIMS, New Delhi: Senior Resident in Medical Oncology 1992–98, Assistant Professor 1999–2003, Associate Professor 2004–08, Additional Professor 2008–12, and Professor and Head of Department in 2022–23. He has presented oral papers at the American Society of Clinical Oncology in 2009 and the European Society for Medical Oncology in 2018.
